Keeping your child in the game is usually a matter of keeping them comfortable, protected, and having fun. CCM’s new AS-V Pro Youth hockey gloves look to check all those boxes. With its use of high-quality materials on a professional-looking and elite-level model, you can rest assured that your child will be fully protected while looking and feeling just like one of the pros.

External Material
The gloves are made with a durable and stretchy polyester exterior, so they are resistant and easy to move around in. The competitive-level Anatomical Shield Design has been updated for the AS-V at all levels, including the AS-V Pro Youth gloves. This design essentially allows the glove to move and contour around your child’s hand as they play, keeping them fully protected at all angles and in every situation.

Finger Design & Protection
The fingers use a two-piece design to enhance your child’s ability to both move and grip the stick. They use PE foam padding in all the fingers, giving the gloves great flexibility and cushioning upon impact.

Backhand Protection
The AS-V Pro is equipped with an integrated impact protection plate, which is found in higher-end Tacks gloves and made of tough plastic to shield against flying pucks or the ice if they take a tumble. Another feature also present in high-end adult gear is D3O foam. D3O is military-grade foam with outstanding absorption and dispersion qualities. D3O adds that extra security you and your child need to experience hockey to its fullest.

Thumb Design
The thumb is protected with a tough plastic protection plate and has a one-piece design. The one-piece design makes it easier for smaller hands to move and grip the stick, and the underside of the plate is covered with PE foams for good cushioning and comfort.

Cuff Design
The cuff is broken up into two parts: an open outer cuff and a sublimated liner cuff. As your child moves and changes direction, the open cuff allows for good freedom of movement, and it can form easily around your child’s wrist with flexible PE foam in the padding. Young players’ hands will remain dry and cool with the sublimated liner inside the cuff of the glove, which is made exactly like how the pros have it.

Palm Material & Gussets
The palm is made of water-resistant Nash material and reinforced along the middle with AX Suede sublimated materials. CCM's AS-V Pro features AX Suede, a material that is used in their top-of-the-line gear and is known for its great comfort and cut-resistant properties. The reinforcement is situated right along where your child will place their stick when gripping it, which is where gloves tend to wear down the most. This addition also helps the gloves last longer through your child’s early career.

Liner
The AS-V is lined with PU cushion foam and a laminated liner. The liner materials work together to offer premium comfort and smoothness to your child’s hands, making the game more enjoyable and comfortable for them.
