The Tacks Vector hockey gloves are a Source for Sports exclusive from CCM for the 2021 season. The gloves come with various premium protective features at a more affordable price point. Features include a pre-angled open cuff, a laminated liner, and a Nash palm with an additional Nash reinforcement.
External Material
The outside of the glove is wrapped with polyester and printed accents, giving the gloves a traditional look combined with a more modern accent design.
Finger Design & Protection
The fingers are constructed with PE Foam coupled with PE inserts, providing you with a high level of protection. The fingers use a two-piece, split-finger design to give you excellent mobility when controlling your stick.
Backhand Protection
The backhand of the gloves is constructed of the same PE foam and inserts as the fingers, providing solid protection from impact.
Thumb Design
The thumb employs PE-injected plastic inserts for premium thumb protection against impact.
Cuff Design
The cuff has been pre-angled with a one-piece, open cuff design to offer a combination of great mobility and protection.
Palm Material & Gussets
The Vector gloves use a Nash palm with a Nash reinforcement. Nash is the traditional choice for palm material due to its great feel and toughness. At all levels of play, CCM recognizes the necessity of a tougher palm. That’s why they added the extra Nash reinforcement right along where the glove comes in contact with the stick. This version also includes contrasting yellow stitching over the palm to fit with the classic Tacks designs.
Liner
The inside of the glove is lined with PU cushion foam and a sublimated laminated liner for a smooth and soft, game-ready feel. The laminated liner is water-resistant and durable, ensuring it lasts longer.
