These new Super Moto gloves are a good choice for people who want a very minimal short-cuff glove for summer use. Some gloves like this I pan because the level of protection is SO minimal, you could almost call them "mechanic" type gloves, but these gloves are more than that. They actually have a passable level of protection.

The knuckles are covered with a hard plastic armor piece which is very sturdy. And the palm has a very sturdy slider too. The slider in the palm is designed to promote sliding rather than "grabbing or rolling" when/if you hit the pavement. Sliding along will cause much less damage than wrenching so that is a good thing.

The palms of the gloves are leather which is soft and comfy. The backs of the hands are stretchy material that will allow air flow through to your hand, so these gloves will be most comfortable in mild to hot weather, but not cold or wet weather. The leather in the finger tip and thumb are conductive too, so you can tap and pinch your device screen.
