Initially designed for US Airforce pilots, these gloves became sought after by ground forces as well - particularly vehicle crews. To prevent your gloves melting onto your hands in the event of a vehicle fire, these gloves are made from fire retardant Nomex® fabric. The grip side is coated with soft, dexterous leather for a good grip. The only downside is these are not meant for continuous abrasive work.
